The Very Hungry Caterpillar by: Eric Carle

I still have my very first copy; this book captivated me as a child; he was so cute and then the butterfly! This book can mean a version of change in different stages of your life. I don’t think we even consider the depth or relevance of a children’s book; especially from one of grade school age. To even consider it to have some deep, insightful meaning; frankly might never be posed if not for a question like this… anyway, this little caterpillar has got me wanting to write a whole article in detail about how this story could be relevant to life, death, celebration, and grief. You can read back at some of my other posts to see the relevance and potentially where my mind is going with this. Well, to be continued.

I am totally a John Grisham fan with some Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Pablo Nerudo, Hunter S. Thompson, Jack Kerouac, Edgar Allen Poe, and Jane Austen.

Wow, When you have to think about putting your favorite Authors in writing it’s more difficult than you think!
